Roundup of this week’s “OOTD” (outfit of the day, which for the record I TOTALLY had to google when I first joined Instagram).  I realized through “dressing myself up and posing” this past week that I am all about Functional Fashion.  I love to look and feel my best, but I also need to do it in a comfortable sort of way.

I’m all about investing in “essential” pieces that are never going to go out of style (like ever, you know – like Taylor) and then styling it up with seasonal finds at a steal.  This way come next season when you are ready to toss that off the shoulder top to the curb, you aren’t going to feel guilty about it.  I also believe in the power of accessories and shoes.  In most cases you are a great pair of earrings, shoes, necklace or bag away from taking an everyday outfit (a la white t-shirt and jeans) from ordinary to extraordinary.
